Williams Sponsors Local Luminosity Students
Four students from local public high schools will be attending the Luminosity Youth Summit in Port Macquarie thanks to local MP, Leslie Williams.
Mrs Williams has arranged funding to sponsor the students to attend the three day summit.
“The Luminosity Youth Summit aims to inspire and lift the leaders of tomorrow with a diverse range of programs and opportunities for youth from all walks of life to motivate and propel their personal development,” Mrs Williams said.
“I am very pleased to again be able to support four of our most outstanding students to attend Luminosity this year.
“The students are Samantha Kirkwood and Isaac Bruggemann from Camden Haven High School, Britanee Willis from Port Macquarie High School and Ella-Jayne Wehlow from Westport High School.
“The summit is being held from the 16th to the 18th July at the Glasshouse with regional youth being encouraged to strive for excellence by providing them with direct access to inspirational entrepreneurs, artists, performers, musicians, business people and public speakers,” Mrs Williams said.
“The interactive workshops and social activities at the Youth Summit will help guide and mentor the students through the challenges today’s generation faces to become tomorrow’s leaders.
“I would particularly like to thanks the Minister for Citizenship and Communities, the Hon Victor Dominello for his assistance in helping our students attend the Luminosity Youth Summit this year,” Mrs Williams said.
