Final Week To Nominate For 2015 NSW Woman Of The Year Awards

Members of the public in the Port Macquarie electorate eager to recognise an outstanding woman should act quickly and nominate for the 2015 NSW Women of the Year Awards before nominations close this Thursday, local Nationals MP, Leslie Williams said today.

“Everyone knows a woman who deserves to be recognised for her remarkable achievements and contribution.

“The NSW Women of the Year Awards is our way of coming together and celebrating women who go above and beyond, so I’m asking members of the public to nominate women that inspire and make a difference to our community,” Mrs Williams said.

“Nominations are open for the prestigious NSW Premier’s Award for Woman of the Year, A.H. Beard’s Community Hero Award, Rex’s Regional Woman of the Year Award and Harvey Norman’s Young Woman of the Year Award, which all commemorate the successes of women in the state.

“Do not miss the opportunity to nominate an impressive woman you know before entries close this Thursday, 18 December 2014,” Mrs Williams said.

The awards ceremony will be held at Parliament House on the 4th of March 2015.
